think ….
innovation hyper local super social community builder = moxie house
add a splash of tang + peach schnapps + vodka = fuzzy astronaut
at the north museum of natural history, lancaster … dinosaurs…planetarium…did dinosaurs poop?
a sip of the brandywine valley wine trail & tasty of seasons olive oil and vinegar taproom
bites from jimmy duffy’s catering
it all made for a for fig lancaster launch party. for sightings check out figspotting
both the fig lancaster no.29 issue and refreshed website were launched.
when i made it home last night i had to dive into the website…love the new banner that rotates with themes from music to nosh, the easy to navigate home tabs, LUV the figpsotting and the fig finds, at the bottom of each page. mostly, i was uber tickled that my most recent “phoebe savors lancaster central market” post was at the top of the blog roll (ONLY because it was the most recent blog post, not because of me)… the blog roll is front and center on the home page and refreshes with new posts… so you will always be in the fig know.
well done fig team. well done.
issue no.29 is on the website, to my right. what’s inside? well, i’ll only give a sneak peak. you can sign-up for your own issue or head on over to fig to view it online. i’ve already make “to do” and “eat here” notes in my copy. orchards class…anyone else interested?
this issue includes a “cutting edge of culinary” section with 2 items you can find in my pantry and items that i have offered in my nosh boxes... duh, because I only curate the best of the best in local eats.
i’m not done yet!
i connected with 5 other fig bloggers and you need to check them out. each blogger has a perspective you will enjoy. Kathleen shared research for an upcoming story about a hydroponic grower with 9 feet tall tomato plants, grown in the water that is “naturally” fertilized by the fish the hydroponic grower cultivates.
