What a strange series of events these past 7 days. It began with a disturbing epiphany about my excuses for exercising. We don’t know each other well, just yet, to share that story.
I began the weekend prepping salads and soups for the Miss Berks County event and it just began to snow. The huge fat, fluffy, blizzard like snow filled the full view of my kitchen window and that’s when it happened…I sliced into my finger with my recently sharpened knife. The short of it, I made my first visit to the ER and as a bonus received 5 stitches, a tube of ointment, and a big bill. It could have been far worse, so it’s all good.
Things started looking up as Tuesday arrived along with anxious and eager expectation of my photo shoot with Tania of Ama Photography.
We had decided on the dress and style. I was tickled that she visited my sun-filled kitchen for the shoot. I have been following Tania for sometime and am uber blessed to call her a friend. She has a passion for sharing her vision of the beautiful details in life. It is a gift for someone to find the balance, color, softness and contrast to make what we see as everyday, often overlooked as ordinary, glow & sing… check out the cakes and fruit.
I have to admit that I was crazy nervous and should have kept a roll of tp under each arm but Tania arrived with hugs, smiles and her helper Sasha (hair designer & owner of Seasons of Sasha) and set me at ease.
My fairy godmothers went to work . . . it was like the scene from Cinderella where the birds and mice come out to play. Sasha tamed my curls and Tania went right to work on food styling. I can’t wait for you to see how she made the kale sing and the lemons glow.
Drum roll….hope you enjoy the photo as much as I do and suggest that you do not hesitate to connect with Tania to schedule a time to artfully capture a personal moment or image. Her schedule is filling with brides and grads. Her skills are not limited to idyllic photos but also brand imaging. Her work speaks for itself.
