“hello my name is …” insert the name of your favorite Shiraz or Riesling. Dan had a few spare price tags that went missing…into my drawer to be reused. I am no wine expert but am learning. When I pick up a new bottle of wine I try to get as many details that are listed or that the staff will give me. There is no sense of pride for me as I often whip out my camera to make notes of flavor profiles, region, complimentary foods or any information specific to what I am purchasing.

As goofy as they look, it is so helpful. When I find a bottle that I enjoy it is easy to make a note for that next road trip. My little black book also makes a nice go-to place for anyone stumped on what gift to give me.
