It’s not like I didn’t tell you…so don’t blame me if you missed out on the fun. Last night Lancaster rolled out the red carpet, food trucks and music to celebrate the culture and community of the city. With the streets stuffed of food trucks and the taprooms keeping pints full the crowd was alive well past 10pm. Music filled the air from two stages and was followed by late night fireworks.
Moxie House hosted a garden party at the Historic Preservation Trust of Lancaster County on Prince Street. There were locally made gifts that included cards to home decor pieces, chocolate chip cookies, sangria, lemonade, drizzles (rain showers), flowers from Rohrer Family Farm Flowers, and nibbles by me, incorporating local ingredients from the pure food pantry.™
It tried to rain. Well, it did for a bit but the sun decided to stay. Here are some post-rain pictures. The chocolate shortbread is a special recipe that I prepare using the Chipotle infused EVOO from Seasons Olive Oil & Vinegar Taproom, available in the pantry. The chocolate puppy was a heart stealer.
Samples also included my herb blend for dipping oil (dressing, marinade, rub, dip…etc)
