Such a wonderful evening of beautiful vineyard & grounds views, nosh, company, libations and dancing (wait, I don’t think what I did was considered dancing).
There are so many local wineries that host music and lawn concerts. We were lucky enough to make it to one of the last events of the season at Nissley Winery.
There was a bit of a wait to get onto the grounds of Nissley. It seems that this was one of the last two concerts of the season. The band that was performing was a 60’s & 70’s band. The weather was perfection for a summer’s evening. The cocktail created a very long line of traffic and full grounds. The cost was $15 and the price of any wine that one purchases (no alcohol can be brought on the premise but must be purchased there).
Some folks are hardcore about setting up food. Our group just brought one table, lawn chairs and lots of food. Some bring their living rooms. Loved this table setting.
folks brought cheese & crackers… this man (total stranger) said I could not make fun of his cheese and crackers when I posted the photo… I’m not. Think it’s great that you bring your fav snack treats and chill on the lawn with great company and music!
the lawn was full!
this was our table of nosh!
figs from my dad’s trees
poor Dan… can’t catch a break… whenever he tries to eat I’m there with the camera.

You always seem to be involved in some fun-looking event! How do you find out about all of them?!
