When we find time together we’d rather enjoy a quite night at home instead of a night out on the town. We’re homebodies, that’s just how we roll. Clubs, never. When the chance arises to see a comic… we are on it. Todd Glass was on his way to Philly.
Dan left the hotel planning up to me this time. Surprising. We now have 2 favorite places we’d recommend for overnight Philly stays. When in the Rittenhouse area stay at the Club Quarters and park here. If staying in the Penn’s Landing area, stay here.
This is how we spent the weekend. (p.s. I would NEVER recommend Max Brenners…ever. if $60 for a choking bloody mary, mimosa, short stack of blueberry pancakes and french toast floats your boat.)

I had a chance, a couple of summers ago, to spend a month in Philadelphia. Fell in love with its charm, its people, but especially its music. Thanks for sharing your weekend. Allows me to live vicariously even though I am all the way on the other coast.

That’s great to hear about your Philly visit. Philly is chock full of culture and history and makes for a fun weekend getaway. We have yet to make it to the west coast…
