This post is way long overdue. I’ll try to keep it short and sweet. I shared on all of my social media sites that we were headed for this event and you missed out if you are a foodie and did not attend.
This was their flagship year. The Philly Farm Fest brought in local growers, CSA’s, green earth products, bakers, and food producers. There were engaging lectures and just plain nice folks to connect with.
Found a couple that I am in love with… John & Kira’s. Bourbon chocolate ganache stuffed organic figs dipped in chocolate. no brainer.
I was already crushin’ on Happy Cat Organic but I got a great photo this Tim. Met the baker and owner of Amaranth Baking. Her gf raspberry thumbprints. yum.
Enough blah ditty blah, blah…. you can take a tour through my eyes.
p.s. we made a hurried stop through the Reading Terminal Market for our favorites.
tasty gf flat bread, gf raspberry thumbprint cookies, & gf granola bars from Amaranth Gluten Free Bakery…
did not try the buckwheat flour but enjoyed the caramelized onion focaccia from Wild Flour Bakery.
