Preprare this sauce as the bread pudding bakes. Serve the warm sauce immediately.

  • ½ cup butter
  • 1½ cup powdered sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • ½ cup bourbon or whiskey
  1. Cream butter and sugar over medium heat.
  2. Remove from heat and whisk in egg yolks. Pour in bourbon gradually and constantly.
  3. Serve immediately.
