Best served warm with ice-cold milk poured over the oatmeal and something sweet on top. While the oatmeal bakes, sauté apple slices (1 apple) in a pat of butter, spoonful of brown sugar, teaspoon of cinnamon, and a squeeze of lemon juice. Top your baked oatmeal with the warm cinnamon-apple slices, nuts, and maple syrup.
