Ingredients
  • Rosemary Syrup Ingredients
  • ¾ cup water
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 4, 4-5 inch fresh rosemary sprigs
  • Cocktail Ingredients
  • ¾ cup freshly squeezed grapefruit juice
  • 2 ounces rosemary syrup
  • 2 ounces vodka or gin
  • 3 dashes bitters
  • Fresh rosemary to garnish
Instructions
  1. Prepare the Rosemary Syrup. In a small saucepan over medium heat simmer the water and sugar until the sugar has melted. Add the rosemary, reduce heat and gently simmer for 8 minutes. Turn the heat off, allow to cool. Strain the rosemary.
  2. Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
  3. Combine the grapefruit, syrup, vodka and bitters in a shaker filled with ice. Cover and shake, pour over ice and garnish with a sprig of rosemary.
