Blueberry Spinach Chia Smoothie

This recipe is as basic as it comes so use your imagination for your blend. I prefer the simple blueberry flavor but orange compliments blueberries. There is no reason you can't use kale instead of spinach. Why not add a teaspoon of cinnamon? Grab your kids or partner and play with this healthy milkshake recipe.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup non-dairy milk, unsweetened organic almond milk or other non-dairy milk
  • 1 cup organic blueberries, fresh or frozen
  • 1 cup ice
  • 3 ounces organic spinach
  • 2 tablespoons hemp seeds, optional
  • 2 tablespoons chai seeds
  • 1 tablespoon organic, raw agave (or a 2 teaspoons of local, unrefined honey)
Instructions
  1. Put all ingredients in a high speed blender and puree until smooth.
  2. Serve cold.
